Photography Club of Beaufort Event Gallery

Third Annual Tri-Club Competition- May 20, 2010

The 2010 Tri-Club Photo Competition, between Camera Club of Hilton Head, Photography Club of Sun City and Photography Club of Beaufort, was held in Pinckney Hall at Sun City on May 20th. 125 members from the 3 clubs attended.

Judges were Stephen Morton, Ben Ham and Tom Coffer

There were 99 entries (33 novice; 22 intermediate; 24 advanced; 20 expert) and a total of 21 ribbons were awarded:

10 awards to PCoB (including 3 out of 4 FIRST PLACE AWARDS); 6 ribbons to Sun City and 5 ribbons to Hilton Head

The 10 ribbon winners from our club are as follows:

Novice:
2nd Place - Russ Dimke - "Spring Morning Mist"
3rd Place - Madeline Theissen - "Old Barn at Sunrise"
HM - Joey Anderson - "Freedom Rain"
HM - Jack Beaucaire - "Storm over Assisi"

Intermediate:
1st Place - Dick Golobic - "Montana Morning"

Advanced:
1st Place - Lamar Nix "Old Vineyard in Fog"

Expert:
1st Place - Nadine O'Quinn - "Fairy or Angel"
2nd Place - Richard Darby - "The Zen of Primary Colors"
HM - Charlie Heyman - HM: Charlie Heyman: "Old Quebec City"
